Elisa is one of the most engaging songwriters I've heard in quite some time - and it was a pleasure to listen to a CD that actually had some really great (not just good, but really great) songs on it. As a matter of fact, I couldn't get some of these songs 'out of my head' (but I wouldn't want to). "Angel Of The Blues," "Long Way To Heaven" and "The Rest Of My Life" are real gems. Let's hope that Elisa gets her 'big break' soon - because these songs deserve to be heard by everyone!

I'm still trying to figure out why Elisa Peimer hasn't been picked up by a major label yet... in a world of Britneys and Jessicas, Elisa has not only the ability to sing a great song, but write it as well! Oh no -- not a DOUBLE THREAT in the music industry!! No no, please, we want someone who we can plaster a huge Nike "swish" on their butts to; no talent need apply.

Elisa's sound is seriously down-to-earth, and keeps you engaged the whole way through. There's not one dud in the bunch. This is her third album to date, and I hope it's just one of many more to come!!! Keep it up, girl!

This is simply a great album. Strong songs, beautiful arrangements, well-produced. Elisa Peimer is a ferocious talent and Transparent promises to be the album that will earn her music new fans around the country. "Long Way to Heaven", "Turning Circles" and "Jerusalem" are standouts for me, but every track is a winner.
