This 'Transplant' is a 100% success story, July 29, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Transplant (Paperback)
Transplant is quite simply, an excellent book. A page turner from start to finish, the story focuses on a woman, Roberta, who, because she has no tissue type, is the universal donor. (A result of exposure to radiation during conception). This genetic mutation makes her organs a valued commodity. Throughout the course of the book you cannot help but feel in awe and pity for this woman, who, unforetuneatly, goes through hell, simply trying to live a normal life. This book offers not only a great read for the individual, but it's a wonderful book to discuss with others.
No other book has grabbed my attention in this manner - and so many times. Definately worth reading, at least once.
