5.0 out of 5 stars Updated Transplantation Drug Manual!, November 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Transplantation Drug Manual (Vademecum) (Paperback)
This book provies the reader with a listing of drugs commonly used in patients who have undergone solid organ transplantation, including drugs used for immunosuppression and those used to minimize post-transplant complications. The most attractive feature in this manual is the initial overview of the agents that will be covered in each chapter. After the overview, a summarized version of each drug's monograph is presented, which includes information on broand names, manufacturers, mechanism of actin, indications, formulation and dosing.

It is not only a useful manual for physicians and medical residents, but for clinical and hospital pharmacists, as it provides some product-related information.

2.0 out of 5 stars Needs more transplant-specific detail, not general drug info, October 26, 2009

Sounded like a good buy, but when it arrived, was disappointed by very short chapter on immunosuppression and inclusion of general, everyday meds (which, granted, are likely to be used by patients with tranplants).
