Good thing I checked your comments before buying the US soundtrack. Not sure what others' opinions are, but I thought that the only good thing about the movie was the soundtrack. (why's that girl gotta be screamin so much?) - I'd be PISSED if I had bought the US soundtrack and had not gotten the music that I was looking for.

So! Anyone who's interested in the actual movie soundtrack, go to amazon.co.uk and get the euro soundtrack. Has what you're looking for, and your amazon logon is the same. 1 Pound = ~$1.55

If you have seen the movie, I recomend you not buying the soundtrack. I personally thought it bites. In the movie, there is all this cool rock music, but on the cd all there is "music inspired by the film", and it is not what I expected. I didn' like the music, I did think that one or two songs were ok. But the rest were boring (I don't mean to offend anyone who likes the type of music that was on the CD). I wish they would make a new soundtrack with better songs, and THAT WERE IN THE MOVIE!

I bought this because I thought it was have a lot of the cool Euro Club Cuts that were featured during the fast driving chase scenes in the movie. Not a single one on there. It's mostly rap, which most of the songs are good too, but I didn't want a whole CD of it.

Read the track list before you buy. The American version is the Hip-hop version.

If you're looking for the track that plays during the "Bank robbery car chase" search LIMEWIRE or BitTorrent for 'DJ Pone' or 'The Chase'. If you want the track during the big fight scene in the bus garage search for 'DJ Pone' or 'Fighting Man'. Also check out DJ Pone showcasing his shiz in the group "Birdy Nam Nam". I think Amazon has the album or go to www.BirdyNamNam.com.

Pone's 2 tracks made the movie for me. Everything else I heard was just disposable hip-hop noise. You can also check www.amazon.co.uk (Amazon in the United Kingdom). I believe that they have a different soundtrack for this same movie.

Yeah, I'm a freeloading, downloading, scumbag... but I can't seem to find these tracks anywhere else.

I purchased the US soundtrack to the Transporter b/c i loved the movie....Talk about disappointment when i heard the songs... there was like 3 songs from the actual movie.... Thanks to the music fan from Poughkeepsie who informed fans like me that there is another UK soundtrack version available! I just bought it, thanks a bunch! I loved the various little pieces of music from the movie and i was so sad when the US version didn't have hardly any of them.... :( Anyway, so in all i ended up paying a whole lot more than what i had intended... but at least i found what i was looking for.

You hear all the great music in the movie, and then buy the CD only to find it is more "music inspired by" and not the dope beats thrown down in the film. Some songs are good, most are [bad].

well seems like european and american version of this soundtrack is different. I bought this cd in europe and it is full of cool rhythms, classic, rock and original scores.

This cd is worth the money you pay for...

What a ripoff. None of the cool euro tech and rock music from the movie SOUNDTRACK is on here. I thought movie SOUNDTRACKS were supposed to contain music from the SOUNDTRACK of the movie that the SOUNDTRACK CD is based on. That is what SOUNDTRACK means. I believe that someone in the marketing department of the hollywood studio that produced this CD has some trouble with understanding what a SOUNDTRACK is. I would give this a zero star rating if possible.

[Too bad] about the US release. Typical. I've been 'burned' by this nonsense a number of times: little or none of the actual movie music on the [darn] CD.

In sympathy, I direct you to the Norwegian band Royksopp and their album Melody AM. Track 4, 'In Space', may be the driving tune you're looking for. William Orbit is also good. You can always still try and obtain the euro-release of this soundtrack....

I saw the movie and agree with the other reviewers, I wanted to hear some of the techno tracks from the movie, but no we get a hip-hop disc. I mean the CD itself isn't bad, the songs are awesome, I love them, but I just wish they would have taken the "xXx" approach and released a 2-disc set, one with the techno and one with the hip-hop which no one would probably listen to. To all the reviewers who still have this CD, just do this: imagine that the CD is a compilation of songs from somewhere else, and just enjoy it. The reason why I didn't give it 4 stars is because of the lack of techno tracks, I would have even liked 7 rap 8-9 rock/techno songs!
