Chris Carter and long time partner Cosey Fanni Tutti, are at the forefront of electronic music. They are truly pioneers of the electronic scene, experimenting with sounds and creating amazingly hypnotic electronic music for 36 years now. In 1975 they co-founded the infamous industrial band Throbbing Gristle. And in 1981 when the band split up, they formed CTI (Creative Technology Institute) and Chris & Cosey. Since then they've paved the way with their groundbreaking music, influencing electronic musicians the world over. Transverse is a live gig from 2011, with Nik Void of Factory Floor. As a 20 year collector of C&C, I was blown away. The sound is fantastic! Timeless, ether-worldly, trance-inducing music, set to mesmerizing, rhythmic beats. This album is a MUST OWN for anyone who loves electronic music! The full title for the bonus track is V4 Studio (Slap 1). It is 9:57 long. 30 years later and C&C are still breaking sonic boundaries. Transverse is thee perfect chill out album. You won't be disappointed!

In my opinion, this album is as good or better than the best industrial albums of the 80's. If you are an industrial fan, check out this worthy new addition to the genre!

An excellent effort, more amazing that it is a live recording, TG fans and C&C fans not to be missed.
