As usual, the Warp Brothers create an extremely well done and seamless mix with the material presented. The liner claims this was the Warp Brothers first mix CD after their initial success with 'Phatt Bass' and the track selection on this mix CD seems to show their inexperience in a non-live venue. This installment of Trazworld is VERY good. I am personally a big fan of 3 and 4, and this CD is a good mix of 4 and 5 i would say. The series definatly didnt get soft like i thought it might. The beats on this CD are the best in the series and the songs while completely trance take on a little more of a techno vibe. Tracks 2 5 and 6 really stick out for me but the rest are really good too. The mixing is fantastic too, done by the Warp Brothers, the same guys who mixed Tranzworld 5. Also i would like to add, if you are a fan of this series check out the Tunnel Trance Force CDs. They are amazing.

The most amazing CD I've ever heard...no joke...and Barbie, track 1 is AWESOME! I love how it starts soft and comes in loud, and you sound great.probably the hottest riff goes to JFK, (song 6), but there are a few surprises like the midget voice in song 10 and the last song...always the best

I am soooooo happy that we made it on the disk. At first I couldn't believe that we were on a Tranzworld CD, but when I checked it out here, I flipped!! Anyway, the songs are amazing, The Warp brothers rock and Track 1 (Crystal lake Featuring me) is also a great track. (Not just cuz we made it, cuz it really is awsome!)The other trax are also brilliant.
Grab the disk. You'll love it!!

As usual, the Warp Brothers create an extremely well done and seamless mix with the material presented. The liner claims this was the Warp Brothers first mix CD after their initial success with 'Phatt Bass' and the track selection on this mix CD seems to show their inexperience in a non-live venue. Specifically, the first four tracks--while enjoyable--are a bit slower than expected if you've already heard later Warp Brothers material. This is disappointing, but track five onwards make up for it with driving hardcore beats.

P.S. - The Warp Brothers include have even better mix CD on disc two of their 'Warp 10' double album that has hardcore beats from beginning to end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for American-made trance, February 9, 2003
This review is from: Tranzworld 6 (Audio CD)
Just like the other volumes of Tranzworld before it, Tranzworld 6 offers a non-stop compilation of instrumental trance music. Most of the tracks on here lack the melodic feel of my favorite songs found on volumes 4 and 5. There's not much melody to remember them by, so you probably won't find yourself playing them over in your head. Most songs consist of a strong bass line with just a few sound effects and samples spread throughout. Also a minor complaint: For some reason the producers of the album left the staticy vinyl record sound present within most of the tracks. I suppose it gives it more of that "club feel", but for a digital format such as an audio CD it just seems unecessary. Ultimately, Tranzworld 6 still delivers the fast-paced electronic music the series is known for that can hold it's own when compared to European artists and compilations. If you like high bpm club/rave style music, you can't go wrong with Webster Hall's Tranzworld 6.
