We have tried everything to stop the steady trail of ants into our humming bird feeders. We saw this product at another house and wanted to give it a try. The trail of ants was gone in a day. Even without refilling the water in the moat, the ants have not returned.

This item is great for your humming bird feeders. Keeps all the crawlers out. Plus the other birds in your yard like to get a drink of water from it so it has a double purpose.

This is a very simple device that keeps ants from crawling down the string to the feeder. You fill it with water each time you change the nectar in the feeder. It works very well for me.

Great! ...but should be bigger
I agree with another reviewer, the water evaporates very quickly. I just have to remember to refill it. Other than that, keeps ants away perfectly! Love it!
