We have tried everything to stop the steady trail of ants into our humming bird feeders. We saw this product at another house and wanted to give it a try. The trail of ants was gone in a day. Even without refilling the water in the moat, the ants have not returned.

This item is great for your humming bird feeders. Keeps all the crawlers out. Plus the other birds in your yard like to get a drink of water from it so it has a double purpose.

This is a very simple device that keeps ants from crawling down the string to the feeder. You fill it with water each time you change the nectar in the feeder. It works very well for me.

I had heard that this ant moat worked really well, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it really did. We're into the colder months now, but when I received my ant moat there were still plenty of ants around. Not one made it to the hummingbird feeder. I'm very glad I decided to purchase this item. I highly recommend it.

This really works! I had tiny ants in one feeder, and big carpenter ants in another. They just can't get to the feeder any more. Only thing is, some of the other birds like to drink from it. A cute problem
to have. Who could be mad at a little chickadee drinking from the ant trap? I just check every day or so, to see whether I need to add more water. Thanks for a great and attractive soluion to my ant problem.

At least 6 years ago while on a short trip,I found in a garden shop your Trap it. I bought 3 of them. During a rain storm one left home, one has since cracked, I now have one left. They are perfect size and I love it. Any chance you will again make them. If so, I will take a dozen. I will contact you by snail mail.

Always had ant problems with my hummingbird feeders. I saw these ant moats on amazon and thought I would give them a try. They work great! The hardest part is remembering to fill the moats with water. NO more ants!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent product !!! I had tried everything to keep the pesky ants out of the hummer's drink to no avail. These ant moats are the ticket--No more ants plus the other birdies get to have a drink from the moat. I clean and refill the moats every time I refill my feeders. Very ingenious device and highly recommended !

When first ordered, I wasn't sure if this ant moat would be large enough for an oriole feeder; however, when the two I ordered arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. They are large enough for oriole feeders, too. When the moat was attached above the oriole feeder one of our hummers hovered over the ant moat taking a look at it, probably because it was new, red and near the hummer feeder where she drinks. She didn't pay any mind to it after that.

This is a must-have if your feeders don't already have an ant moat. In the case of the oriole feeder, it has an ant moat, but ants can climb right over the orange half that sits over the ant moat and head straight for the grape jelly (and into the sugar water). This Trap-It ant moat solves the problem.

I recommend this product wholeheartedly!

I got my order fast and the trap was easy to apply to my feeder. I had to use a slightly larger screw in hook on the bottom of my trap than the one provided because I applied it to a glass feeder with a very close loop hole to the feeder and the smaller hook would not fit in the loop because it didn't open up enough. This probably would not have to be done with most feeders, but if anyone else has this problem you can buy larger screw in hooks at most hardware stores.
