Ill Keep this short.
Take (the mystic, not depressing side of..)Anathema and mix with the edge of Evenesence and you have Vic Anselmo for the most part.

Not only is the woman a doll, but she has the voice of an angel. I really like her approach and the higher notes she can hit. When an old metal-head like myself wants something from the female side, this is about as good as it gets. Yes, I know there are 'heavier' women out there, Black Metal chicks and Thrash Front ladies, but this sound does allow for a bit more voice range and I do believe Vic Anselmo has a bit extra to offer in the originality department. This Mystic yet rich sounding music really is good for the soul. This CD cover is a great representation of what is within. A pretty record.

Best Tracks: Underwater (smooth, mystic and sexy vocal), Who, The Flight, Put Your Spell On Me, Before I could Breath (nice hook to it) and Dead Man Walks. Good, solid songs. 'Worlds From Here' also has a good Portishead style to it. Great Vocal. Nice.

Beverly I could have done without.

The other tracks range from well sung ballads to mid paced, lightly electronic -infused tracks with a nice Guitar edge. But such a sweet yet stubborn singing style. Unique.

A good introduction to a woman who I hope will release much more material. Beautiful voice and imagination. The total package.
