Trapped is Terrific!,

This is a wonderfully sweet inspirational suspense story that I couldn't put down.
It's not a genre I would ordinarily read but the inspirational parts are handled deftly and with great care and were so much a part of the characters inner beings that I didn't mind at all and didn't feel as if I were being preached at. The suspense is heart pounding as lovely Summer tries to leave her old life behind only to find that sometimes we drag the past along with us. The young sheriff, obviously deeply attracted to Summer, wants to help her because...well...that's what he does - - he helps people. They are mutually attracted to each other but they both have so much baggage that you wonder if they can ever put it all aside and start over. If Summer lives, of course! I couldn't recommend this more highly. It's everything I want from a book -- a terrific plot, great characters, and a really satisfying ending. I look forward to the next book in the series. Don't let the cover fool you.,

This book came as a delightful surprise. I read lots of books. When I first picked up this story, I was a bit rushed with Thanksgiving preparations and such, so I didn't read the blurb. I looked at the cover and thought... okay, this story must fall into the "General Fiction" category. (Which I enjoy as well.) Only it doesn't. That's the first of many surprises I encountered along the way. The product description gives you a great feel for the gist of the story and I don't want to give anything else away. Let me just say, if you love inspirational romantic suspense, this is the story for you... and the cute little girl and black lab on the cover will make total sense.

I really don't want to give too much away. This is a sweet, sweet story with a cast of characters that are real enough to make you feel like you know them. From Summer's understandable fears, to Jake's take charge personality, this story reels you in from the start, cheering for the good guys (well, lady), and hissing at the bad guys. But Ms. Erhardt makes even the villain understandable, making your heart bleed for him just a little. She also gives you just enough insight to watch it all happen and wonder what will happen next.Well, I guarantee that you won't want to put this one down until you know the ending, so happy reading!
