Book Description

This is an action-packed international thriller. In November 2013, a naval drone crashed into a guided missile cruiser off the coast of San Diego. News of that event got around fast. What the devil caused that crash? As the sun rose on the east coast, Kristen Luger, who had the looks others would give a right arm for and a Brazilian immigrant working in the NASA drone project, was asked to kick up her heels and bust a gut to patch the holes in the cause of this crash. Come with Kristen and her boyfriend Nolan in a journey that weaves a spell of doubts and fears down a chilling, dark street in a thrilling tale.

1.0 out of 5 stars AWFUL!! March 11, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This has got to be the worst attempt at a story I've ever read! The idea just jumps all over the place, reads like the blurbs from a terrible action comic book, characters talk like a sci-fi attempt one moment, then something out of a bad western the next. Seems like of the limited action cartoons from Saturday mornings with the worst dialogue ever uttered. Bad grammar doesn't even begin to describe the beginning of the things wrong with this book. Really? Our heroine just happens to have several of two kinds of tiny drones in her back pack? That the government who knows she is a drone "expert" sends off completely on her own to single handedly to solve the riddle of what caused a large drone to go off course during a test and just about destroy a carrier? And in spite of losing all electrical components in their car, watches, cell phones & GPS, decides to traipse thru the the dark...and finds a wrecked car AND an abandoned house to hide from the bad guys in...and the bad guys cell phones work just fine, BTW????And did I mention the vicious attacking tarantulas??
I think the author here is abut 12, with a serious case of arrested development, or he was stoned while he wrote it.!
