5.0 out of 5 stars another top knotch power metal album from peavy and crew. you can almost feel the rage coming from the packaging, June 12, 2007

another top knotch album by the power metal gods. rage have an amazing history behind them and this band owes it all to peavy wagner, hell peavy is rage. one hell of a bass player and his vocals are what makes rage what it is. without peavys unique vocals rage could have never been what it is today. he has this high pitch sound and the ability to create killer growls and screams that in some ways are similar to the mighty dave mustaine. now on the newer records his voice has gotten fuller and meaner. he still sings great and almost sounds completely different. that is why these older albums are so unique, i love how he sounds now but he can not hit those high notes he was able to hit back in the old days. just listen to his voice here compared to his voice on the amazing metal masterpiece soundchaser and you will see just how much a difference there is. you know how tate of queensryche once was an amazing singer and now his voice is rough and no where near what it used to be, well peavy may sound different now but he still kills. his older style was awesome and his new style is awesome, peavy and rage truly deserve more credit than they get because to me rage are right up there with the greats like running wild, helloween, mercyful fate, udo and accept, iced earth and so on. if you have never heard rage before and are a true metallian do yourself a huge favor and get at least one of their albums. they all are great so you decide. i will however reccomend these cds, for new rage check out soundchaser, and for old rage check out execution garunteed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Go and Get this Masterpiece Now!, August 18, 2011

This review is from: Trapped (Audio CD)
This is one of the best RAGE records of all time!. This is pure speed/power with a thrash metal touch at its best. While early records were very good, with this album the band took the right direction towards the characteristic style of RAGE that we all love and know.

The whole album is amazing! I can bet that the songs will stay in your head for days or weeks. The 2002 version features two songs that originally appeared in the Japanese version as well as two tracks from the excellent Beyond The Wall EP plus the rare demo of Questions.

The speed, the rhythm, the melody, the riffs, the solos, the double bass, the voice, catchyness everywhere, all the elements are there, no filler in this one. TRAPPED is a very powerfull album that will make bang your head every time you listen to it, happens to me everytime. Go Get It Now!

This review is from: Trapped (Audio CD)
WOW I HEARD THE NEW LINE UP OF RAGE BEFORE THIS AND THEY BECAME MY FAV BAND INSTANTLY.SO I DECIDED TO TAKE A CHANCE AND GET SOME BACK CATALOG STUFF SO I SAW PERFECT MAN AND GOT IT AND JUST COULDN'T GET INTO IT AT FIRST BUT THEN I SLOWLY DID THE VOCALS ARE'NY MY FAV BUT THE MUSIC WAILS. THEN I GOT TRAPPED AND BLACK IN MIND BECAUSE THEY WERE PRAISED SO HIGHLY BY OTHERS AND WOW THER AWESOME AND MUCH BETTER THAN PERFECT MAN AND PRODUCTION IS GREAT ON THEM.VERY CATCHY SONGS AND GREAT VOCALS AND SCREAMIN AXE.ALSO GET 10 YEARS IN RAGE MUCH MORE THRASH METAL THAN THE OTHERS BUT NOT TO OVER THE TOP.ALL GOOD. MY NEXT CD'S ARE GOING TO BE END OF ALL DAYS . THE NEW CD IS GOOD TOO BUT NOT AS GOOD AS UNITH WHICH WILL BE HARD TO TOP WITH EVERY SONG BEING VERY GOOD.
