Verified Purchase
I own three other Traser watches (all different models) and wanted something a little dressier for the office and special occasions but sturdy enough that I wouldn't destroy it as I have a bad habit of doing with cheap watches so I decided to pick this one up as well. Couldn't find one in stores, but figured I knew Traser well enough to buy online sight unseen... Unfortunately what arrived in the mail wasn't exactly what I had expected.

OK, good news first. It's a heavy, good looking, and well-constructed as one would expect from Traser. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, stainless case and band (they have one with a leather band as well, but I tend to break those too easily), robust controls, and it keeps good time. The chronograph does not have a continuous sweep, but rather ticks forward second by second, which is neither good nor bad, just clarification of the feature (I kinda prefer continuous sweep but don't really mind the way they've architected it).

Having said all that, it is does not have a deployment buckle and is only water resistant to 100M, a sure sign that it is only designed for light use. And, it lacks a screw-down crown. Since that is a standard feature on all the other Traser watches I own and commonplace on Seikos costing half as much, its very disappointing that we get a heavy knurled knob that does not actually lock into place. Further, the tritium glows white, whereas options of green or blue would have been nice (not that I'd rate the watch down any stars for this one, but come on guys, why aren't features from your more basic watches not found on this model?).

Do I like it enough to keep it? Yeah.

Knowing what I know now would I purchase it again? Almost certainly not.
