great new old-timey music,

i do an old-timey show on kkfi.org (90.1 fm, in kansas city) and i feature ralph's music regularly...and he is one of the few 'new' musicians i play. his entire output...and this cd particularly are just fantastic. somehow he incorporates the real feel of old-timey music in a cont. setting--using all accoustic instruments, played by himself. this one is not to be missed! i'd also suggest checking out his myspace page and general website for more recordings. he is the modern incarnation of jimmie rogers, woody guthrie, and clarence ashley. check it out....dr. mike
