An Italian friend showed this book to me and I managed to find it years later at a used book store and have used many of recipes as they are just simply fabulous. When I had another Italian friend visiting and she saw the book she told me the recipes are brilliant.
I use this book all the time and have found it hard to find another book that has as many great recipes. Its my favourite recipe book for Italian dishes.

One of the best pasta cook books ever written,

Loukie has written an excellent cook book giving insight into the origins and shape of Italian pasta, and the best ways to cook it. She matches pasta sauces with the style of pasta for which they are most appropriate. Her use of easily obtainable fresh ingredients makes this a practical book. The recipes are simple and straight-forward, and exceptionally tasty. Recipes range from the traditional bolgonase and pesto, through to no cook sauces and oven baked dishes. There are recipes for every occasions, and they all taste great. If you love Italian pasta, and want no-fuss cooking, this is the book you must have.
