5.0 out of 5 stars This book should be required reading for all psychiatrists., January 3, 2008
This review is from: Traumatic Brain Injury: Methods for Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychiatric Assessment, Second Edition (Hardcover)
Dr. Granacher obviously has a grasp on the difficult problem of distinguishing genuine disability from faked disability. The reader will enjoy the easy readability of this work. How he makes sense to the reader of this complex and difficult to understand area of neuroscience is most admirable. Colorful clinical tips like Ribot's Law and other bedside pearls remind one of the Russian methods used by the great Luria. At the same time the author uses the statistical scores of American neuropsych testing to a good end as well. The new area of high tech neuroimaging is explained in understandable ways which is clearly the need for this second edition. I give Dr. Grancher's text an A+.

Submitted by Stephen Michael Cox, M.D. President of the National Anxiety Foundation. Asst Clin Professor of Psychiatry, Unversity of Kentucky Colege of Medicine.
