Product Description

Gluvit 2 lb. unit Waterproof epoxy sealer Paintable waterproof epoxy seeks, fills, and seals cracks in fiberglass, wood and metal. Hard protective coating flexes with hull movements to bridge and seal hairline cracks. Deteriorated wood can be renewed with a few strokes to penetrate and strengthen stringers, decking and molding. Impact and abrasion resistant barrier coat minimizes fiberglass blistering and corrosion. Seals leaky aluminum seams, rivets, and leaks around cabins or decks. Gluvit™ fills minor cracks and pinholes. Long working time allows penetration into cracks to seal and strengthen. Easily top coated with bottom or topside coatings and most paints.

Delivery a few days longer than quoted. Applied to inside bottom seams and rivets of 1973 14 ft. aluminum v-hull easily. Allowed to cure for several days before painting with one step polyurethane epoxy topside paint with added non slip grit. Product continued to seep and create runs during curing time, but did not matter in floor of fishing boat. Can only half full for mixing purpose but plenty for my boat with 1/2 pint or more to spare (have to dispose of because it will continue to setup). Has to be painted because it is sensitive to UV light. Seems to be basically epoxy glue. Is doing its job so far.

Follow the directions and it works great!! Slow dry time in cooler weather and use in a well ventilated area.
