More of a travel journal than a guide,
This review is from: A Travel Companion to the Northern Areas of Pakistan (Hardcover)
The thing is if you are traveling to this part of the world then you need all the information out there. I will consider this as one of the important books you may need to buy. But this alone is not suffice. It is rather be called a traveling journal with some brief detail about the area and approach. But reading this book is not a waste of time, you may gain some information which you may not find in any other place.
I will highly recommend using Lonely Planet's second edition of Trekking to Korakaram & Hindukush as your primary source. |
