On an internet-enabled device such as the iPhone and the iPad, Google Maps will even show you the route from your current location to the attraction you want to go to.

With this travel guide you can turn some eReaders into audio guides. For example, on the Kindle, just open an article and click Shift+SYM to activate text-to-speech. Put the speaker on the back of the Kindle against your ear and enjoy your virtual travel companion. Press Spacebar to pause/resume text-to-speech.

This guide provide an excellent introduction for travelling to Costa Rica, it also provide useful tips and details on how to hang around. If you are planning to stay a long time there, you will need to complement it with information from the web for convenient lodging which not only is easy but this book provides the links you need.

I purchased this guide along with "Costa Rica Parks 2011 (Mobi Sights)." I used this guide as a full overview of the country - then used the smaller Mobi Sights guide as a basic reference to specific parks I wanted to visit.

The editors Top 10 list and itinerary was quite useful in picking where I wanted to travel to. I also like reading about the history and culture of the destination I'm traveling to before I get there - this guide had all the information I needed.

Overall, highly recommended.

This book is a very short guide to Costa Rica. It gives only the true highlights, without much detail. It is good to get a very general orientation, but is not a very detailed book.
