I can't believe this book is out of print; it is wonderful! My students hang on every word, begging me to go on to the next chapter. They all want their own copy (including me!). CHEERS to Anne Lindbergh!

A must read!,

I absolutely loved this book, and so did my fifth graders! It was a jumping off point from which we read some of the classics that are mentioned in the book. Owen goes from a non-reader to someone who cares deeply about the characters in each book. A wonderful journey!
