Great album.,

This is such an awesome Christian band. Their unique sound is like a mixture of Radiohead & U2. I love when bands use strings in their instrumentation like these guys have. Their song "Close Your Eyes" is so moving. The feel of this song somewhat reminds me of Switchfoot's song "You". The song "Closer to Me" is another favorite of mine from this album. It's like a really cool waltz. There's something about songs in ¾- time that I love. You can tell that they pay attention to every detail in each of their songs. Very well done.

Wonderful and Beautiful!,

I hadn't heard of this band till I attended a service they played at. The music is anthemic and driving....ethereal and beautiful. I love the fact that they use instruments that buck the conventional wisdom in rock and roll.

I've heard a good deal of negative press on this album, and frankly, I'm a bit puzzled. Sure, it's ambitious and perhaps a trifle too epic, but those are traits to love, not criticize.
The lead singer Eric Owyoung handles production alone and creates the kind of atmosphere in which his killer melodies can shine. Those who have enjoyed Future of Forestry's past efforts will recognize the poetic lyricism, unconventional arrangements, and climactic moments that carve out a place for this album (you can scarcely call it an EP) in an already impressive oeuvre. Let's just say I'm thrilled that this is only the first of 3 forthcoming EPs this year.

Love Em!,

Future of forestry is a solid Christian group. Much different sounding than what you hear on the mainstream radio. I love all three of their travel albums.

I don't listen to Christian music at all, nor am I a Christian. It doesn't matter when it comes to this band. They are so good that everyone can enjoy them, as the music is not overtly religious.
Future of Forestry "go big" with this EP, as they crank the volume up another notch. A whirlwind of string instruments and thundering drums defines This Hour. Buy this now. Every song is a success.

Buy Travel. Honestly, this album is only a few bucks and they could not have put together a more solid set of songs. Every single song is amazing, great lyrics, experimental music, just a great release. It would be quite a bad mistake to turn down this EP.

I think this is a fairly decent effort from FOF. I was much more impressed with Twilight. Still, I would reccomend this to all FOF fans.
