From Library Journal
Despite its large size and glossy pictures and maps, this guide contains much useful information. It divides the country into three sections-Western, Central, and Eastern-and then lists tourist attractions region by region, providing a brief description of each and indicating whether there is an admission charge. As in any such compilation, some interesting places have been omitted. The large maps are not very useful, since they are not detailed, but the smaller, large-scale maps are much better. Unfortunately, they don't cover all areas. The attractions are numbered and keyed to the numbers on the maps, so the traveler can look at the map, then check the description of the numbers and decide if the site is worth seeing. The mileage chart is not useful, since it lists very few cities. Accommodations and restaurants are not listed, but there are many other guides for that information. A useful, but not necessary, purchase for public libraries.
