I bought this thinking that it would be a great way to charge my Zune away from my computer. I realize that this isn't Zune equipment, but even so I thought it would work much better than it does. It will not connect to the Zune well, and does not lock in to the player solidly. The clips are stiff and ill-fitting. You have to get it 'just so' in order for the player to charge, and if you try to move the player at all, it just falls out. Without a solid connection to the player, you can never be sure that the player is being charged properly or not. Spend the extra money and buy a Zune authorized product.

This charger doesn't work at all. I tried several times and it charged the Zune only two times and it took forever to start to charge. Look likes that Zune doesn't recognize this charger or something like that.

i have a 16gb zune. the first time i used the charger it worked fine, but took forever to charge. the next time my zune froze. it took me awhile to figure out how to fix it. the final time i used it, thinking it should work fine, it froze and i couldn't fix it. i searched on the zune website for how to fix it and found nothing. the buttons wouldn't work, and it was broken for a couple days. in the end i left it on to try and run down the battery. once it was dead i hooked it up to the computer and was able to get it working again. the charger ended up in my garbage. my friend got the same one, she has an 8 gb, and it wouldn't do a thing. don't buy this, pay more for the actual zune charger.

It's inexpensive and it works, not too much more to say than that. Some of the plastic parts will come apart, but snap back together if you catch it in time and don't lose any small pieces.

For some strange reason, this charger, when connected to my Zune HD, made the touchscreen act very erratically and made touch inputs jump all over the place whenever i placed a finger on the screen. I tried a drawing app to test it, and sure enough, lines looked like they were drawn by a person having a stroke. This was especially a problem when typing.
Otherwise, it worked fine and charged well, but this should not be happening.

I bought this charger for an older model 30GB (the one that looks, and feels, like a giant brick) Zune that I had gotten for my brother. I initially bought this item because my brother's computer stopped working and he had no way to charge his Zune. At first; I wasn't sure that I had purchased the right charger, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked the minute that I plugged it in. Now; he can charge his Zune without the need of a computer.

This unit has worked in all the outlets I've tried it in so far. It has successfully charged my Zune both times I've used it while travelling. I received a product that looks different than the one in the picture, but there don't appear to be any compatibility issues.

I bring my Zune to work with me, because we are allowed to wear headphones and listen to music while working. Because I don't have my own computer at work, and for security reasons, I cannot charge my Zune using the USB cable I use at home. Appalled at the high price for a wall charger ($20 or more!), I was excited to find this one for around $5. While it charges up just fine, the plug is awkward and doesn't seem to fit the Zune perfectly. I've had to struggle with it a couple times to get it to fit into the slot, or to pull it back out. I guess you get what you pay for. I am still happy either way, since all I really need is the ability to charge the battery, which it does.

I've had this for a few months, but I've only used it a couple times because most of the time I just attach my zune to my computer to charge. It has worked to my satisfaction. And it was really cheap. So I say it was a really great purchase.

Overall this non-oem charger is the best cheapest bargain I could find. I was skeptical at first, but enjoyed the results. Plastic pieces and connectors match up perfectly. Recognizes just fine! Note: this is a 1gen charger and I have a 1st gen zune. NO PROBLEMS!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
