4.0 out of 5 stars Overall good bag
We purchased this item at Toys-r-us for $25. The best thing about this bag is that it has all the items necessary to connect your wii to another tv like the power supply and composite cable so you do not have to disconnect all this from you main entertainment center. 2.0 out of 5 stars Ok, but not great
The bag is great, holds the Wii and controllers awesome. Its great to have the extra wires so we don't have to unplug everything when we take the Wii to friends house or on vacation.

The wireless sensor bar is a total waste, which was the main reason we got this. It doesn't let the Wii remotes move smoothly, it's jerky and also doesn't seem to 'center'...

This makes taking the Wii to grandma's house alot easier. The wireless sensor bar so far is not desirable - we figured out the range is not great and we have to get the remote less than 3 feet away to use when making selections on screen. Regular play is okay. We are going to buy a wired sensor bar to go with this kit separately. The bag does fit the Wii, all the acessories and a couple of games snuggly - but that will be about it. We have extra batteries stored on the side pockets as well.

The wireless sensor bar is a total waste, which was the main reason we got this. It doesn't let the Wii remotes move smoothly, it's jerky and also doesn't seem to 'center' correctly.

If you want a decent travel bag with extra set of cables, go for it, but if you want the sensor bar, stick with the 'wired' ones.

Got this for my dad for Christmas because he likes to take his Wii on vacation with him to Florida or wherever. I read the reviews about the crappy wireless sensor and thought they might have been overexaggerated. I should have sprung for an additional wired sensor because the wireless sensor really is difficult to work with and sometimes didn't work at all.

Other than that the kit is great for his needs. He just unplugs the Wii from the back and that (and the games, I guess)is all he needs to pack into the travel bag.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not big enough, March 9, 2010
This review is from: Travel Kit for Wii (Accessory)
It has space just for the basic stuff: console, AV cable, sensor bar, power adapter, 1 remote with nunchuk, and stand. I was able to get the Nyko double battery charger, two more remotes and a nunchuk but it was too tight, and using the side pockets for the nunchuks and one remote. Also it has no specific place for the remotes so I took the batteries out to avoid discharging. No spaces for games.

I give it 4 stars because for the price you get more things than the bag, useful for backup purposes and not disconnecting everything when you travel. I have not tested the wireless sensor bar yet.

I do not know why the other review is so negative on this bag; but the amenities and price of this bag make it a great value. I bought this bag about two weeks ago and used it to pack my Wii, two controllers, a battery recharge station, and the bag comes with its own power cord, sensor bar, and A/V cables for the Wii. I carried my games in a separate hard case (which I strongly suggest anyone do), but the case could have held a couple of games. The bag seems to be well built and has a handle or shoulder strap. All in all, I would strongly recommend this bag.
