Didn't work properly! Just buzzed!,

Purchased this for my daughter for her summer in Italy. Never worked, although all the lights indicated it was working. Reset did nothing. It seems many of these type of devices have trouble handling both low and high voltage.

I tried to use this power converter to operate some fairly low power consumption 110v only networking equipment for a demo. It clicked constantly and seemed to be switching between modes. The upshot of this was that the power fluctuated every second or so, preventing the equipment from ever actually booting up and coming on line.
The lack of a space for a grounded plug also makes this device hard to use with many devices.

Pros: Excellent converter! I did lots of research on this type of product since I wanted my electronics to be safe overseas and this is the best product for this purpose.The auto-switching is an awesome feature because you never have to worry about using the right wattage setting. Other Thoughts: If you plan to use this to power up multiple items at once make sure you take a standard US extension cord that has the 3 receptacles at one end. I used this converter to plug in and charge my laptop, cell phone and toothbrush at the same time, works great!
