We took the Kit on a 3 day kayak trip.
One use was enough for me!
The storage bag did not leak liquid or "solids".
I didn't check to see if it turned to a gel!
But, wow, did it stink.
The other boats couldn't follow me, my cargo hatch still stinks, and my wet/dry bag only smells better after a bleach dunk.
Use it if you have to, but be prepared to plug your nose afterward.

When we are 4 wheeling and the nearest bathroom is 30 miles away on rough roads, what can we do(doo?)? We carry a bucket with a seat attached for all the comforts of home. This item makes it tolerable to pack this stuff out. Beats squatting in a ditch!

Like my tittle say this is a great item but it is rather expensive for the amount of bags you get. But the Quality is great! This is a must have when camping!

The kit requires a sort of stand for it to be useable, sold separately Didn't see that mentioned in the description, though I may have missed it. I wanted something to stuff in a back pack so I thought I would just return it. Apparently it is not returnable because of the nature of the item. Didn't see that in the description either. So I am out $8 and some change and have a few plastic bags to show for it. Feel like Jack and the bean stalk, but at least he ended up with a hen for his mistake.

We got these for a road trip/camping. They are fantastic! We made the 8 hr drive without having to pull over once. With a 5 and 7 year old that is amazing! No getting out of the tent in the middle of the night either. Now we keep them in the cars and even my purse. You never know when your kids are going to need to go, but it is usually inconvenient. They really work like they are described. We only smelled any odor when one was full in the van in the heat for hours and we opened it. Otherwise, it doesn't leak or smell. Fantastic product!

I like this kit because it is HEAVY plastic and has a built in zip lock. It also has toilet tissue and wet ones included--plus it folds down to about 4" x 4" and is about 3" thick--this makes it easy to store in vehicle or wherever. The only down side is the expense. You only get three bags with this kit. I suppose you could reuse it a few times--but that would be kind of gross. I will use cheap plastic bags and make my own kits in the future--but these are nice to have on hand.
