I received a review copy of this book. Like the author I am a photographer who lives in Massachusetts. I am familiar with about 95% of the locations the author describes in her book and I am in unique position to evaluate the accuracy of the information she provided.

I found that information was accurate for the many locations that are familiar to me. In addition to the description and directions on how to get there, the author includes suggestions on when to go. For example, for capturing images of the butterlies she suggess going during summer's cold or rainy days because the butterflies are less active. For Eastham Windmill she recommends morning light. For Higgins Farms Windmill she shares with the reader that it is located next to a playground and is best visited when small children are less likely to be there. In each category she also included her top pick so if you can only visit one location that would be the one to go to.

The book includes many photos, they are small but very good. It is clear that the author is a very good photographer. Her photos will inspire you to go on a photography trip, I know it did that for me.
