This is very enjoyable listening. The harmonies are nice, and some of the arrangements are a bit funky, without being heavy-handed. Also the song selection is off the beaten path somewhat, so you may hear songs here that are not on most other gospel collections.

Some groups are beatin by the weary road, but these guy's wear it like a fine coat. Been around since the 50's and a few member changes hasn't dulled their spirit a bit. They once were scheduled to record "If it ain't one thing, it's another" with ELVIS PRESLEY, even going as far as rehearsing it with him at Graceland, but the King cancelled due to sickness, and died the very next year. Get Ready for some Rollicking, Rolling, touch of Funk, Gospel! ENJOY! (Scotty G. knows good music)!
