Editorial Reviews

This Collectible Audiophile 180g 3LP Box Set features remastered & expanded versions of The Traveling Wilburys two original albums, Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 and Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3 and a bonus 12" which features a previously unreleased version of "Not Alone Anymore". The super group, Traveling Wilburys, was comprised of legendary musicians Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty. The album Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 was, in 1989, ranked #70 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980s. The death of band member Roy Orbison (on December 6, 1988) prevented further full collaborations; however, the band continued without him. Tom Petty's "Full Moon Fever" is considered by some to be Volume 2, since Jeff Lynne, George Harrison and Roy Orbison perform on the album. Features: Mastered at AcousTech by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI on 180g Vinyl; Actual Linen-Cloth Cover; Three Remastered & Expanded 180g LPs: Volume 1, Volume 3 and Bonus 12"; Collectible 12" x 12" 14-Page Color Book; 36" x 12" Color Poster; 6" x 4" 6-Sepia Color Post Cards and Envelope; Limited Edition - 15,000 copies. Where else are you going to find a collection like this. No where cause these 5 musicians have a legacy that no one can take from them.

RIP:
George Harrison
Roy Orbison

I love this album and recommend that you listen to it and you will have a different view of things after listening to it.

What can be said about these guys that hasn't already been said at least a billion times??? George Harrison, in my opinion, was once in the greatest band of "all" time....The Beatles. Roy Orbison had a voice that was as smooth as pure velvet. Bob Dylan....well...always the poet from the sixties. Tom Petty is established already as a classic rock God...as is Jeff Lynne, with additional credits to Jeff as a producer and sound guy for many, many classic rock albums, as well as the sound man for "The Concert For George" DVD and CD. I mean...it has all been cronicled in the history books about these rock Gods of modern day, as they will all live on forever in time to come. Thanks for reading this....rock on!!! Tony R.
