Delicious mando treat,

Clean, sparkling mando playing and harmonies; celtic and hispanic tunes. I can't stop playing it, and I can't stop picking out these tunes on the mandolin. If you like mandolin, you will love this recording. If you don't like mandolin, get this recording; it will cure you. Nothing too flashy, just sweet, clean and refreshing.

highly listenable,
This review is from: Travellers (Audio CD)
Despite picking tunes from all over the Western world, this album has a unified feel and tone. The production and recording quality are excellent, and the playing is tight, precise, and nicely arranged. John Reischmann, whom David Grisman has called "the unsung hero of the mandolin," is well appreciated around our house, and has found a wonderful sympatico with the other two players on this CD. If you like this, check out Reischmann's recordings with guitarist John Miller -- "Singing Moon" and "Bumpy Road".
