About the Author

Mike Cadman is South African and has worked as a journalist in Southern Africa for the past 24 years. During his career he has worked for CBS News, The Los Angeles Times and freelanced for Newsweek magazine, ITN Channel 4 News and a variety of other organizations. He has covered most political, social and environmental issues of the region, has wide environmental experience and is particularly interested in birds. His first book Karen Trendler and her African Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre was published last year.
