2.0 out of 5 stars Where's the strap?
I bought this item thinking it was better than most passport holders because of its great extra features but when it arrived I quickly noted that it doesn't come with a strap to wrap around your neck. I would have thought that came with every passport holder. Guess not. Unsuitable for my purposes. Sent it back but they were great about refunding me promptly.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great ID/Boarding Pass Holder, August 28, 2007

The required IDs fit into the appropriate places very well. The boarding pass section is a little snug but I found this to be acceptable as the pass was secure and would not accidentally fall out. There are two features that I really like though, the first is that it can be folded then snapped shut for privacy while travelling through airports and while seated during the journey. The second is the enclosed pen, very useful as you know where to find it, handy for filling out arrival cards and such like.

I like the snap closer better that the one I had, that was open all of the time. Strong vinyl, and the clear part is a little opaque, so you can read it up close, but not when far away, giving a little bit of privacy.

A great passport/ID/DL & boarding pass holder that snaps closed to keep private. Zippered pouch in back for credit cards and cash.

Everyone airport employee I've encountered makes you take your ticket and ID out of the holder to see it more clearly. I wish the pockets that hold these items made it easier to pull the ID in and out. It would be 5 stars if I could just flash my ID and boarding pass.

It seems that I was less lucky than my predecessors.

Pro: pretty functional although the big pocket is not very convenient for storing eticket printouts
Price certainly

Contra: I got a black version, not so nice-looking as the brown one
The quality of finishing isn't good, and you cannot see that in the picture
The "snap closure" is so-so

I bought this for my daughter who was traveling abroad without me, I wanted to make sure the documents were on her person at all times, and this holder worked very well and kept her paperwork organized for her. This item is very practical and inexpensive. I would buy more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel Companion., November 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have traveled all over the world and this Holder has been VERY helpful. I can fit everything important that I need when traveling, put it around my neck and forget it. It has multiple slots: license or ID, passport, boarding passes, plus it also has a zippered pocket which is great to store your credit cards or money, etc. After over a year of hard use, it still looks like it did when Amazon sent it to me, which means that the quality of this item is very good. The pen fits perfectly and it writes nicely, also; but save it from hard use, as it will be very hard to find another pen this small! ;-) (I only use it for situations where I don't have another pen). Anyways, overall great product for travelers. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Item for the Price, February 20, 2011
This review is from: Travelon ID and Boarding Pass Holder with Snap (Apparel)
There are more expensive products out there, but for the price, this is a great item. It holds a boarding pass (some folding, cutting needed for e-pass printouts), an id card, and a passport. Additionally there is a bit of room for a few light extras should you need to get at them fast; such as cash or luggage keys. The lanyard is helpful for security and accessibility but it does not contain a metal wire in it (didn't expect it to) so don't rely on it too much in sketchy areas. I'd recommend this product to others and give as a gift.
