4.0 out of 5 stars Great bag - too big for most carry on
Overall I'm very satisfied with this bag. They call it a "rollaboard" and maybe it is in its smaller configuration, but if you've got it completly filled and the expanding section unzipped - good luck getting past the gate agents or into any but the largest of overhead bins. I'm fine with this because I bought with the intent to check it on most flights. I have the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Neat luggage. Definitely not crew class
I was disappointed by the manufacture of the product. Specifically when it came to parts that have a high rate of failure. The retractable handle had some kind of cloth enclosure making it difficult if not impossible to replace in case of failure. The retractable handle didn't have a snug fit when it was being pulled (It rattles). Overall the luggage didn't compare to...

I have the "Moss" color and I really like it. It stands out from the sea of black bags and doesn't show dirt very easily. The material seems very durable as do the wheels, handle and other hardware. The collapsing handle works quite well and if you zip up the flap on the top - the handle disappears completly. I give this 4 stars only because the "no-wrinkle" garment rolling thing doesn't really work that well - but do they ever?

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, durable suitcase, October 1, 2008

My husband wanted a carry on suitcase so he didn't have to keep checking his bag on his business trips. This suitcase has been very durable and holds all the necessary clothing and toiletry items for his trips. It is lightweight which is also a plus. We would recommend this bag to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag, December 10, 2008

Seems pretty well constructed. Perfect size for (domestic USA) carry-on. It fits the right way in the overhead bins with no problem. It comes with a lot of (removable) accessories inside like a hanger bag and strap. I only wish it had more pockets on the outside (there are only two, one large one and one tiny one) but its a nice bag overall.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best carry on piece of luggage, January 19, 2009

We were looking for a really good piece of carry on luggage since we travel a lot in our retirement. This bag is very well made, durable and still not to heavy to be hoisted into the overhead bins.

It may not be cheap, but you learn that you get what you pay for.

The retractable handle had some kind of cloth enclosure making it difficult if not impossible to replace in case of failure. The retractable handle didn't have a snug fit when it was being pulled (It rattles). Overall the luggage didn't compare to the crew model or the comparable durable models from other Vendors. Didn't meet my expectation for a long lasting durable piece of luggage with replaceable parts.

I travel 75,000 miles a year and these bags take the abuse dished out in the air. I am a repeat buyer based on my first purchase of this model.

4.0 out of 5 stars Light and Functional - Hope it lasts, July 29, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I travel quite often and trust the TravelPro brand. This model is light and functional. However, the quality of the materials seem like it may not last too long - but I haven't had any troubles yet.

Purchasing on Amazon was a definate bonus with a fantastic price and convenience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight luggage, March 27, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is lightweight luggage and will easily fit in an overhead bin on the airlines. I purchased this for just that reason and if the front pocket is not stuffed full, it should fit fine. It appears to be durable and the color will be easy to spot.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bigger and heavier than it's advertised, May 13, 2010
This review is from: Travelpro WalkAbout Lite 2 22" Rollaboard Suiter (Apparel)
Bought this because it seemed to be an especially light option at a supposed 7.3 pounds; it's actually more like 9. The listed dimensions are the dimensions of the case itself, but the length doesn't include the wheels and the support which add on a good inch. This takes it over the standard US carry on limits, and even more so the stricter European ones. In centimeters it's 23 deep, 36 wide and (with the supports) 58 cm long. The Iberia limits are 20 deep, 40 wide and 55 long. In my experience the Europeans are pickier about cabin bags, especially if you're flying in a small jet. Seems like this will fly in the US, but I read on another site how someone flying out of Israel was forced to check it and pay for it as a second piece of check luggage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Travelpro WalkAbout Lite 2 Suiter - 22", July 16, 2009
Recently travelled across the United States on a five day vacation. This luggage worked beautifully. Suit, Pants, Jackets arrived with minimal steaming needed.

Overall product has plenty of room for multi-day trips and is well balanced when pulling.
