I read this book 47 years ago, and it was very good then and it was very read the second time.
Steinbeck is of course one of the great American writers, but this book gives the reader insight into the personality of the author.
This book is about a road trip Steinbeck took in 1960 with the stated goal of finding out what the true America is like.
