One of the better books in the series second, in my opinion, only to "Pale Grey for Guilt." McGee honors a death bed request from an old love to investigate possibly psychotic behavior of the woman's daughter and, in typical MacDonald fashion, all is not as it seems. The ending is cool and calculating and leaves you on a world class high.
