This review is from: Treachery of the Demon King (Kindle Edition)
Treachery of the Demon King is the fourth, and last, part of the Parsina Saga. (The series starts with Shrine of the Desert Mage Shrine of the Desert Mage: The Parsina Saga Volume One) In this book Goldin masterfully pulls together all the plot threads he established in the first three volumes. Each situation is resolved. Like a true Turkish carpet, everything is tightly woven together and there are no loose ends beyond the wistfulness of having to say goodbye to magical Parsina. Treachery of the Demon King is a most satisfying conclusion to this series of fantasy books that have draw as much from folktales and legend as they do from mass market Sword and Sorcery paperbacks.
For those reading on the Kindle, this book has been edited for the Kindle. Typos appear no more frequently than they would in a book from a publisher. Accordingly, it is a pleasure to read on the Kindle. |
