Not many reviews available when I was shopping for a mat so I just picked a mid-price range mat. I have an elliptcal on the mat over a laminated floor. This mat is very adequate for this purposes. I also have a bow flex mat that came free with the bow flex and the Gymtough mat is better and cheaper to buy outright ($49 vs. the $99 advertised price for the bow flex mat).

The only down side, this mat had a very bad odor which lasted for over a month. I put it outside for a day when I got it but I would recommend unpackaging it and leaving it outside to air out for at least a week when you get. Anyway this is a problem that will go away in time.

I purchased this mat to use on a carpeted floor, under my Schwinn 430 Elliptical. I'm very happy with it. I was afraid that the vinyl might tear or become stretched and misshapen from the weight of the machine, but it is thicker and more durable than I expected -- it feels like heavy rubber. I was also worried that this mat might have an unpleasant odor, but no problem with that either. Finally, since I have it on a white carpet, I check frequently to make sure it hasn't stained or discolored the carpet; again, no issues. In conclusion, this is a fine product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to protect their floor from the weight of the machine, and their exercise machine from dust and static.

I purchased this for underneath my new Schwinn 431 Elliptical Trainer. It's a perfect fit. Made of strong materials, but not too thick that I could trip over the corners. Great quality for the price! Fast shipping...A++++

This mat is a perfect fit for a large elliptical machine and it seems to protect the carpet also!

I bought this mat to put a fairly large elliptical machine on in a carpeted room. So far, no problems, it went down easy and does the job. I have zero complaints

Great mat for use under my elliptical. Protects the floor, easy to vacuum and keep clean.

This product is easy to use and keeps my elliptical from making scratches or impressions on my hard wood floor. Also keeps it from slipping. Highly recommended.

My only wish was that it didn't stick to the concrete but a little corn starch or something might fix that, did seem small for my elliptical but that was my miscue in the order.
