Paul thanks for all your help.I did order the report and read it, it does provide a lot of valuable info on the maintenance of a treadmill. But what is more valuable is the opportunity to ask some one like you the questions, and get answers from some one that has done this before. I checked the speed sensor as you suggested and it was at an angle and about 3/4 inches away from the wheel. As soon as I adjusted it the treadmill worked fine. Paul , what I did not tell you was My Father in law had a service person look at this treadmill and got a written estimate for over $400.00 plus he paid $80.00 for the estimate. The repair guy wrote the treadmill needed a new motor controller and a wiring kit. With your advise I fixed it in 15 minutes and no new parts, thanks again --Eugene-- |
