About the Author
Ryan Wheeler has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Florida. He has conducted archaeological investigations throughout the state, focusing on eastern and southern Florida, prehistoric art and aboriginal canals. Ryan most recently led the State of Florida investigation of the Miami Circle.
