LONG LOST TREASURES,
This review is from: Treasure cruise,: And other Crunch and Des stories
These books, the Crunch and Des Stories have been out of print for a number of years which is truly a shame as they are absolutely hilarious. The premis of the stories are two old ship mates that are down on their luck. They purchase and fix up an old fishing boat and go into business running rich folks around the S. End of Florida. Each story is different and each story is funny and quirky. Philip Wylie is a very good story teller and an absolute natural at building his characters. If you are able to get a copy of this one, do so. If you have a copy, hang on to it.
