Book Description

Tom and Tammy Davis are very excited to be spending their summer in Cripple Creek, an old Colorado mining community. The town is filled with history and maybe even some ghosts!

The children discover many places to explore, such as the town’s hotel and museum, but they find themselves drawn to some mysterious abandoned houses rumored to contain forgotten treasure.

The children’s exploring gets off to a rocky start, though. An old miner named Uncle Billy shouts at them for snooping around, and later a ghost chases them away from one of the old houses!

But hopes of finding hidden treasure push Tom and Tammy to continue their search. With a ghost on their trail and Uncle Billy watching somewhere nearby, the children nervously uncover a buried chest. What will they find inside? It may change their lives forever.
