After reading the classic story, my 7 & 4 yr olds & I were having a hard time finding a movie that stayed true to the book, but wasn't too violent to watch. This video was the 3rd we've seen & the best yet! Great animation, voices & story stayed true to the book.

this is one of the greatest animated movies of all time. It has everything you could want in a cartoon movie: brilliant animation, catchy songs, and top-notch voice talent. I recommend this to anyone who likes Treasure Island, Robert Louis Stevenson, or just animated movies. A MUST!!!!!

I purchased this item for my grandchildren 8 and 10. They said it didn't have enough kung fu action for their liking. I myself really enjoyed it. But then I'm 73

This is an animated production from 1972 is based on the classic tale of the same name by Robert Louis Stevenson. The Warner Brothers home video division has the distribution rights for this in the US. It is a musical version, and is a fun version of the story. The animation and characters are decent. Good for the kids, although as an adult I like the 2002 version from DIC Entertainment better.

Pretty good just be prepared to have the little jingles stuck in your head, very cute movie.
