Developed by Barking Dog Studios, this is a real-time action-strategy game based on the Disney film. Your task is to rise through the ranks of an intergalactic military by commanding 3D flying space galleons and protecting the queen and her empire. The game can be played in single and multiplayer modes. With the single-player mode, kids take on the role of Jim Hawkins to complete 12 mission-based levels. As they play, players acquire new ships, equipment and team members, plus learn more tactical skills to enhance their vessel's navigation and combat abilities. In multiplayer mode, players compete over the Internet or LAN, engaging in fleet battles with various ships and location choices. We tested the single player mode and were somewhat disappointed in the game. The controls are less than intuitive and the graphics aren't up to par with other Disney products. Also, the real-time gameplay makes the game move slowly.

I think it was the pace of the game.... By 2010 standards, I think the pace was just a tad too slow and couldn't hold his attention. Oh well.... The ships are cool though.
