Editorial Reviews

From the Author

This book reveals secrets as well as-showing how to read and decode old Spanish, Mexican and European treasure/ hidden mine maps. Actual/real treasure maps are shown and used pinpointing with topo maps and photos seven hidden mines/treasures including the world famous "lost dutchman mine." Always par for the course is the fact that you can almost always expect the mine/treasure to be located in a rugged area, a wilderness, a desert area or on indian property. The "Lost Dutchman" mine and the "caverna con casa" a.k.a. "Caverna of gold" were found in the early 1980s - and only now the story with pinpoint topos and photos can be told and shown in detail.

It was a sixteen year effort wherein satellite i.r., ground penetrating radar, mass spectrometry, magnetometry, geochemical surveys etc. Etc. Were used in this quest. -But in the final round it was the understanding and decoding of the Spanish and Dutchman's (German) map that led to discovery

If your going for the gold-silver or emeralds anywhere between California and Bogata Columbia, and the Spanish were involved, you must be able to read their coded maps.

All signs, symbols, numbers and words on Spanish maps that are shown "in water" (river, stream lake) is a reverse/mirror image message/instruction. We noted a mirror image message on one of the Spanish maps that said, after reversal, that the Peralta family's home in the early 1800s was in Santa Fe. We found their descendants as well as the Gonzales family. The Peralta and the Gonzales jointly mined the site later to be known as the lost dutchman. This book is a "must" for serious treasure hunters. Maps containing seven hidden and UNCLAIMED mines and treasures are decoded in detail and pinpointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Book on the Dutchman's Mine Ever?, June 26, 2000

This review is from: Treasure Secrets of the Lost Dutchman (Mass Market Paperback)
I've been reading treasure books for more than 40 years and this is about as good as it gets. If you are at all serious about the whereabouts of The Lost Dutchman's mine this is the book! Even if you never intend to go looking in the Superstition Mountain(s) for gold, this will tickle the fancy of any treasure hunter. I won't give anything away, but you'll learn things you've most probably never seen or heard before, about this or many other treasures. Enjoy!

2.0 out of 5 stars Der Deutsche Mensch, August 22, 2002

This review is from: Treasure Secrets of the Lost Dutchman (Mass Market Paperback)
The print format used capital letters which distracted the reader and made reading more difficult. The content was enjoyable with a general summary of items which could be found in another book by T, E. Glover, which had greater details.

The ending of the book left me wanting more. The claims made near the end of the book did not seem to be supported with any final statements of action taken or proof beyond circumstantial evidence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Understanding Spanish Trails, March 23, 2002

This book is EXCELLENT--SHOWING A TRACKER HOW TO LOCATE AND CUT THE SIGH OF A SPANISH TREASURE TRAIL--from the initial sign / markers to the final entering of the Stone Doors.

ONE WORD OF WARNING--NEVER ENTER A STONE DOOR WITHOUT FULLY UNDERSTANDING THE DEATH TRAPS PLACED AT AND AROUND THE SITE
AS WELL AS INSIDE THE STONE DOORS OR YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THE SITE ALIVE!!

I would recomend all of Charles Kenworthy's books.

If I could recommend he write a new book it would be on closing the last 100 yards into the stone doors and decoding the hygroglyphs to the right of the stone doors.
