Four young Americans are entangled in a web of deceit and corruption while doing anthropological research in a Campa Indian village. This book has diverse avenues of interest for the reader; written with directness and compassion for his characters. Anyone interested in off-road travel, history, politics, romance, or adventure will find something to enjoy.
