My Kids Loved this Book,
This review is from: Treasure in the Stream: The Story of a Gold Rush Girl (Her Story) (Hardcover)
I read this to my children a couple of years ago while we were studying California History. They loved this book and still refer to it. The storyline was engaging and easy for my son (who was in second grade at the time) to understand. I'm thrilled whenever I find good historical fiction that helps history come alive for my children.
