I only needed to read the section on the Santa Barbara Mission because I wanted to learn about the Lone Woman of San Nicolas. This section was very imformative and interesting to read. I learned much more from this book then searching the Internet for biographies on her. Although it only covers six of the missions, I would use this book in my classroom. I think the students will enjoy reading the tales and learning more about the missions.
