A remarkable range of moods and techniques!,
By Brianna Neal (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Treasures of the Celtic Harp (Audio CD)
This is more than just Celtic music. From the traditional to the jazzy, harpist, arranger and composer Kim Robertson really knows how to grab and hold a listener's attention. This is a solo recording, and yet the playing is so complex, the sound so lush and the arrangements so satisfying that they fill the room and the heart. There's no need for anything more. Truly a treasure! I particularly enjoy Robertson's own compositions, perfectly suited to her sensibilities as a musician, and to her instrument. Happily, Robertson has an extensive discography of solo and collaborative efforts, all of which are lovely.

Discovering the Treasures of the Celtic Harp,
By Catherine Wallace "Editor, Writer,Manuscript ... (Washington, DC area) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Treasures of the Celtic Harp (Audio CD)
Perhaps my first exposure to Celtic music was through the angelic and hypnotic music of the Celtic harp. Kim Robertson is a gifted musician, and her talents are truly heavenly. This CD is filled with wonderful music sure to captivate the listener. I am a fan of harp in the early morning, particularly during creative hours, when music is appreciated for its artistic content, and the poetry and writing gods descend upon those who are slaves to predawn inspiration. The music is light and a delight to listen to. If you are a fan of Celtic harp, this is a 'must have' for your music CD collection. Catherine Wallace

The CD is in good condition as stated in the comment, but it would be better if stated it's a promotion copy rather than a retail version.
