This book will help you find ways to help that person -- to build one another up. What a wonderful ministry! The Ministry of Encouragement!

I would highly recommend Treasures of Encouragement. Sharon Betters speaks directly to our hearts. We get a fresh glimpse of who we are in Christ and how that relationship empowers us to encourage those around us. This book has been a favorite of mine for over nine years. I recently made my fourth journey through its pages and have been blessed all the more. I have been brought to tears each time as I consider the faithfulness of God in the midst of the trials of His children.

This is a wonderful book for the church. Sharon Betters reminds us what biblcial encouragement can be and should be in the church. She has put together wonderful stories and bibical insights that is invaluable for woman and even helpful for all leaders of the church.

This book has lots of great information on encouragement. I'm using it to help teach a ladies bible class and can't wait to get the class started.

If you are looking for a daily devotional that really gets you into the word of God then this is the book for you. Sharon Betters really relies on God's word for her daily source of strength and through these pages she tries to teach us and encourage us to do the same. I am doing this book in a small group Bible study as well and think it provides a lot of opportunities for discussion. Also, it is a very interesting and easy read.

I used this book as a basis for discussion with a small group of women. It is drawn from the author's experience of personal grief and her journey toward healing. The focus is not on grief, however, but on the relationships that can develop between women in the church community and how these can encourage and build up the members of that community. I would highly recommend its use in this way.
