This was a lot of fun! I think my husband enjoyed it as much as our four-year-old son! My little one was really excited to find all of the hidden treasures. I'm planning to purchase two more for my twin nephews' birthday. A bit of advice: Please wear the enclosed safety goggles, as the rock island debris is a bit hard, and does tend to "fly" everywhere. And, please note, this is most definitely an outdoor adventure. It's pretty messy, but it's a blast.

Great Item. Lot's of fun for kids... I think my daughter had to dig out like 18 itmes. Much better then any other digging adventure kits I've ever bought. Well worth it.

I can't rave enough about this kit- talk about FUN! My five year old is an aspiring archaeologist and along with my three year old the boys had an absolute blast digging out the treasure! As previous reviews stated it is messy so a roasting pan outside is an ideal place to do this project. The initial digging is a bit tough but once the big chunks break off it's treasure after treasure to find. The only other thing I could add is that a paint brush is also a valuable asset with this toy- especially if you are discussing archaeology, anthropology or other digging sciences.
